Shearing is the metal fabrication process that is used to trim and remove unwanted material from sheet metal. Our machines are utilized to shear through the various sheet metal with extreme precision without the use of heat.

This process can be used with a handful of other materials like aluminum, steel, bronze, stainless steel, and iron. Our power shear machine allows us to slice through sheet metals faster and more effectively than the average bench sheer.

The machine holds the metal sheet in place so that it can be processed through the machine. As it passes through, the upper blade (the punch) pushes down on the material while the lower blade (the die) remains stationary. The space between the blades allows for the cut to be made based on the precise measurements sent in by the client company.
